Terms of service
What the service is, how appointments and fees work, and where the limits are.
About these terms
These terms apply to the psychological support provided by ARVI&D LTD (“ARVI&D”, “we”) and to your use of this website. By requesting an appointment or using the service you accept them. If anything here is unclear, ask before you begin — we would rather explain it than have you agree to something you have not understood.
The service
ARVI&D provides remote psychological support to adults, in English, across European time zones. Support is delivered by video, telephone or written exchange, in individual, couple, family and group formats, and may include guided self-help programmes with practitioner support.
Support is delivered online only. There is no premises to attend.
Not an emergency service
ARVI&D does not provide emergency or crisis intervention and does not offer out-of-hours cover. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. If you are in distress but not in immediate danger, contact a crisis line in your country.
Requests and appointments
A request submitted through this site is not a booking. We reply with a proposal — practitioner, channel, frequency and fee — and an arrangement exists only once you have accepted it in writing and the first session has been confirmed. We may decline a request where the service is not appropriate for what you need, and we will say so plainly.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted individually and confirmed in writing before the first paid session. The quote states what the fee covers, how often it is payable, and the notice required to cancel or move a session. We do not take payment through this website.
Cancellation and changes
The notice period for cancelling or moving a session is set out in your written arrangement, because it differs by format. If you need to change something, tell us as early as you can. We will also tell you as early as we can if we need to move a session.
Your part
You agree to give accurate information when you request support, to tell us about anything that affects your safety, and to use the channel we have agreed for clinical matters rather than informal messages. You are responsible for keeping your own device and connection secure.
Our part and its limits
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, within the arrangements we have agreed with you. We do not guarantee a particular outcome: psychological support depends on many things, and no practitioner can promise a result. We are not responsible for failures outside our control, such as a lost internet connection or a device fault.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Ending the arrangement
You can stop at any time; tell us and we will close the work properly rather than leaving it open. We may also end an arrangement, for example where the service is not the right one for your needs or where the agreed boundaries are not kept. Where we end it, we will explain why and, where appropriate, suggest somewhere else to go.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
