Privacy notice
What we collect when you use this site, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
ARVI&D LTD is registered in England and Wales (company number 16471633). For the purposes of data protection law, ARVI&D LTD is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@arvi-d.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us or what the site needs in order to work:
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, country, time zone, preferred channel and format, and the message you enter in the request or contact form.
- Correspondence — the emails, calls and messages that follow from that enquiry.
- Technical data — the server that hosts this site records standard request information (IP address, browser type, time of request) in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or third-party tracking on this site.
Why we hold it
We use enquiry details to answer you and, if you go on to use the service, to arrange and deliver it. In data protection terms this is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and necessary to perform that contract. Where we rely on legitimate interests — answering a question, keeping the site secure — we keep that processing to what the purpose requires. Where we ask for consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Special category information
What you write in a request may describe your health. We ask only for what is needed to answer you; you decide how much to include. Information about health is treated as special category data and is handled on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you submit the form and confirm that we may contact you.
Who sees it
Requests are read by the practitioners and administrators of ARVI&D LTD who need to answer them. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We use service providers for hosting and email; they process data on our instructions and under contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted once they are no longer needed to answer you. If you become a client, clinical records are kept separately, for as long as the professional and legal obligations of the service require, and you are told at the point of engagement.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to info@arvi-d.co.uk and mark it “data request”. We answer within the period the law allows.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first — most things are settled that way. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; in the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office, and if you are in the EU or EEA you may complain to the authority in your own country.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the revised version will appear here with a new date.
